What is a tiling consultancy service?

Our  tiling consultancy service has been developed to provide professional advice and know how to anyone wishing to tackle their own tiling project. Whilst we recommend the use of a professional Tiler. We understand some of our customers wish to carry out their tiling projects themselves. From talking to these customers we have identified a need for this service. 

How does the service work?

Before embarking on your project one of our professional Tilers would visit your home at a time to suit you. They would then discuss your plans, listen to your ideas and formulate a step by step plan to follow from start to finish. They would highlight any problem areas and advise on how to overcome these, they would advise on the correct materials and equipment to use and carry colour swatches of grout and literature on products for your information. They would set out the area for you, leaving lines to follow and work from.   

 How long does the consultation last?

The consultation generally lasts for between 1-2 hours depending on the project.

 What does it cost?

The consultation costs 65.00GBP per room.

Why would I pay for a consultant when I am trying to save money?

You could save the fee and more if you were to buy the tiles, adhesives and sundries from us with your discount voucher provided to you after your consultation.We will advise on the right products to use and they will be less than you could buy elsewhere, even if you dont buy your tiles from us you will have benefited from the knowledge and know how of a professional Tiler thus enhancing your property and skill set. 

What if I am uncertain?

You can ring us if you are uncertain and we will advise you.

What if I don't feel confident enough to carry out the work myself?

If you don't feel you have the level of competence required we can give you a quote for the work. Although we would hope to give you the confidence to complete your project, we understand it can be daunting.
